"Delicious coffees, sandwiches, and juices prepared by two brothers. There are breakfast options too, but it's the sandwiches that are to die for. The eggplant (berenjena) is particularly good, perfect for those days when, as a gringo, you're hankering after a few more vegetables. Lovely choice of EEUU oldies coming from the music system, though to my surprise, in all my visits I never heard any James Taylor."

"While our clothes were washing and drying at the laundromat next door, we enjoyed a wonderful brunch at La Prosperidad Cafe. The ambiance was relaxed, and the food was DELICIOUS. (All told, I ate chilaquiles probably 6 times during my visit to CDMX and this was hands-down the best version!) I highly recommend this cafe!"

"Desde que entré me recibieron con una sonrisa y buena energía. Tuvieron un pequeño detalle con su Alexa, pero lo resolvieron enseguida y pusieron música, lo cual ayudó a crear una atmósfera muy agradable. El sándwich fue una sorpresa: se ve sencillo pero es mucho más llenador de lo que parece, y la ensalada lo complementa perfecto. Es una opción súper balanceada para desayuno o brunch, especialmente si buscas algo que te deje satisfeche sin pesadez. Pedí la Golden Milk (leche con cúrcuma y canela) y, aunque la textura y el sabor base estaban muy bien logrados, el azúcar estaba un poco pasada de nivel —una cucharada sopera copeteada fue demasiado. Con un toque más sutil sería espectacular, porque la mezcla de especias y la consistencia estaban en su punto. La atmósfera es cozy y relajante, de esas que te invitan a quedarte conversando o simplemente disfrutar el momento. Definitivamente voy a volver pronto"
